Today, here in Mexico was Election Day! No, we weren’t electing president but we were electing representatives.
So of course I woke up early to go work out and then go vote.
I went to Naucalli Park, then had breakfast, showered and got ready. My sister on the other hand was just waking up and she took very long getting ready. Finally, when she was done we made our way to our voting site (forgot it’s name in English but in Spanish is casilla electoral).
The problem here is that we didn’t want to take the car because it was close enough to go walking but, and this is a big BUT, the walk there is uphill and I’m taking about a very big, steep hill. So up the hill we went…
I’m not kidding we were up the first hill and my sister couldn’t move anymore! She spent all the way whining and panting and holding to me so I dragged her ¬¬. It was horrible. No to mention that the sun was high on the sky and there was little to none shade. You can imagine that when we finally got to our destination we were sweaty and tired.
Then we went to the line and they sent us to a mini classroom (the voting thing-y was at a school nearby) where there were like 30 people (I’m not exaggerating) and it was hot as hell! Lucky for us they located our IDs easily and then we voted. The process was very fast since there was little to no line at the site.
After that we went back home, this time downhill which was easier and faster n_n.
Once back I washed my hands like 30 times trying to get rid of the stench of the ink they used to mark my thumb. It doesn’t stink anymore but eugh, it was just plain awful.
One of the things I enjoyed the most today was sitting with mum and Maximus watching TV. We were taking it easy until he decided that he wanted to go running all over the house. I had to chase him and it was terrible…
Have you seem Ice Age 3? My sister did and she said that it wasn’t as good as the others. Mum and I are going to watch it when she’s better and I want to know if it’s worth paying for the 3D experience or not.
Kisses,
Julie.

Ugh, steep hills are the WORST! My driveway is tremendously steep, and I encounter a daily battle with it!
Happy Election Day to you and no, unfortunately I haven’t seen ‘Ice Age 3′ – one to add to the ”must-rent!” list!
