Hi!

I’m Juliette Maxwell (or Julieta Campos, if you want to be official like that), but you can just call me Julie. I write this blog and take a lot of pictures of myself. My posts are often snarky and center around things I can’t stand about the web, some few tutorials, advice for new developers and makeup.

Here are somethings you may or may not know about me:

1. I’m 23, my birthday is August 4th
2. I’m a Leo and an Earth Dragon, although according to an astrologist I once met I’m supposed to be a fire dragon because of all the fire I have within me
3. I’m 1.58m (almost 5’2″) tall and wear a size 3 MEX shoes (that’s 36 EUR and 6 US)
4. I studied Systems and Information Technologies Engineering but I’ve always been intrigued by design. I ended up in Engineering because I like computers and am somewhat good at Math
5. I took 3 design and 2 animation courses while I was in college, however I can’t use Flash to save my life
6. I first learned to read in English and then in Spanish
7. My worst subjects at school were Administration and Spanish
8. I once had dinner with a bunch of Japanese wrestlers and the only thing we agreed on was “PSYCHO!!!”
9. I have taken English lessons since I started school, took 2.5 years of French and 3 months of German, I also know a couple of words in Japanese and how to write my name in katakana (meaning: I know no Japanese at all XD)

Ok, so enough of that. In case you couldn’t figure it out, I’m a freelance web developer and designer (the designer term is used loosely here). In Mexico, I work with designer extraordinaire and flash fairy, Alejandra Fernández, and we run our own freelance company called Maxwell Studio.

I’m also available for digital consultation and have helped some fellow bloggers throughout the years with tech stuff. My strongest point is WordPress Themes and custom modifications but I can also give you guidance about purchasing hosting services, Domain Nameservers, places to buy domains, WordPress installations, WordPress plugins, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and a whole other themes.
