Off with your hair!

I’ve been wondering how to say this. If you follow me on Twitter, then you probably know that I got a haircut on Monday.

Here are two pictures to remind you how my hair looked before…

I ran out of Hot Hot Pink dye two weeks ago, so I decided to try Rock n’ Roll Red and I HATED the results. While I was at work, I decided to go to the salon on my way home. The salon closes early, so I made a deal with myself. If I made it to the salon, I would cut it all and if I didn’t I would buy another jar of Hot Hot Pink.

I did make it to the salon and I asked for all the bleach to be cut. My hairstylist, Mary, was so afraid of my reaction after cutting. I had to keep on reassuring her that I knew what I was doing and that it was fine with me.

I do regret getting a fringe though :/. I can always pin or braid it back, no biggie.

I love having long hair, but it grows back and it’s not a big deal for me. I do miss my super long locks, but I feel I look better without so much hair.

These pictures were taken today while I wait for my hair to dry. So please excuse the frizz and the fly away hairs.

Excuse my sleepy face. I woke up really early today >_<. I’ll add more pictures later when I decide to flat iron my hair. My haircut is a simple curly bob. Once it grows a little bit, I’m going in for some layer work .

I’m happy with my hair, I think that the change fits right in with my new life and style direction.
