For my birthday my friend Paco got me an Iron Maiden t-shirt. The idea of the shirt came from the Taylor Momsem outfit that I talked about earlier, I’ve always wanted to use plaid, a concert t-shirt and shorts but I never had the items. Paco made me promise that if I ever got an Iron Maiden t-shirt, I would wear a similar outfit.

So, here it is…

I’m a totally awkward person XD

I was going to wear this for my friend’s bon voyage dinner. Sadly, it started getting windy and cold, so I changed to jeans and converse :D.

They don’t really fit me since they are a size too big, or maybe half a size :S. I’ve been kind of losing weight lately and I’m in between sizes, plus they are too long for me. Whatever, I like the colour and they make me really happy, even if I have to cinch them up with a belt to avoid them falling down :S.

I’m wearing:

• Pink skinny cargo pants (I think) from Zara
• Lego T-shirt from Stradivarius (Madrid)
• Black cardigan from Zara
• Black satin peep toe heels from Zara (London)

The one thing I don’t like about these pants is that they fade like no tomorrow. I washed them once, by hand and in cold water, and they faded instantly. They certainly aren’t as pink as they used to be.

Yes, my hair is a total mess… I ran out of finishing hair cream so yeah. That’s the curly disarray in all its glory for all of you to see :D.

I’m getting used to my tripod, that’s why the pictures were taken at such an awkward angle :S. I’m sure that I will get better with time. Learning to use this camera has been a total adventure XD. I’m still not used to the macro settings and I love the portrait setting, it’s truly magic. The only editing I do to the pics is a bit of white balance because of my pink wall and its pink light.

I ordered my camera remote yesterday. It still hasn’t shipped, but it should take like 3 weeks to get here. Until then, expect a lot of weird pose-y pictures XD.

My dad got me a Sony Alpha NEX 5. Which is the perfect DLSR for me because it is not heavy and it is tiny (like me!). I’m still learning how to use it and I’m getting used to shooting with a tripod. I’m getting a camera remote soon, so more dynamic pics are on the way as well.

Today I went to see my friend Pic (Yagarasu). Here’s what I wore:

• Jeans from C&A – These are my “ugly” jeans

• Plaid shirt dress (borrowed from my sister) from Zara

• Bracelet from Steve Madden (a gift from Cheve)

• Curls galore (!!!)

I also had a bit of fun with my makeup, I try to be as creative as I can but I chicken out when I do very bold looks. Here’s what the washed out version of what I was going to do to my face looks like:

Yeah, this was just an excuse to post silly pictures of my face :D. It looks kind of pink because of my huge pink wall XD. So yeah, excuse the utter silliness of this post. I really wanted to post pictures from my new camera n_n.

I finally got my degree!!!

YES! You can finally call me Engineer Julie :DDD. I’m so happy about this, you have no idea. I waited for this for six long months and the day is finally here. Graduation is when we get our diplomas and then they serve appetizers and take our pictures, nothing fancy, just a small ceremony.

Here’s what I wore under my gown XD:

My mum was kind enough to take the pictures, and that’s how you get to know the rest of our house XDD. Excuse my awkward poses, I get nervous when I get my picture taken by someone else.

Today I had the opportunity to attend the Manhes & Massun fashion show during Mercedes-Benz DFashion Mexico. I couldn’t dress up a lot because I had to go run some errands before hand, so I chose a very simple look that was put together.

Sara was my photographer for the day and I thank her very, very much :DD.

We arrived super early to the show, so we hung out in the lounge for a loooooong time. The guys from Ciel were sponsoring the event, so we had loads of water to drink. The lounge was a very fun place to be, but I’ll talk about that in another post.

Everyone was super nice and the event is incredibly organized. I was very happy with everything, everyone was super polite and we actually got bumped from 5th row to 2nd row :D.

The show was amazing and everything else was as well. I can’t wait for Friday to go there again :DDD.
